In each Hardline department Sélection d’Experts displays a range of useful, high-performance and innovative products for everyday use by the whole family; they were developed with the best quality-price-responsibility ratio.
Ensure product quality
Prior to marketing a product, our top priority is to guarantee consumer safety and satisfaction. We keep a close watch on the manufacturing processes
The specifications include our technical and quality requirements for each product and every packaging that we develop, in tandem with the manufacturers. Once our manufacturing partner has been selected, we monitor the whole process, from beginning to end: audit of the production site, compliance with the specifications (safety, performance, packaging, etc.), compliance with European and French standards.
Our inspection and product testing protocols are regularly adapted to keep up with both regulatory changes and the new expectations of our consumers.
Sustainable Products
Pursuant to the commitments of E.Leclerc, Siplec E.Leclerc supervises the manufacturing process of every product under the brand Sélection d’Experts.
Our partners, located in France, Europe and abroad must commit to our Code of Business Conduct.

Labels and eco-design
We are strongly committed to fighting illegal logging. We trace the wood used in our furniture back to its original source and ban endangered wood species.
All wood and wood derivatives used in private label products purchased by Siplec E.Leclerc are now FSC® certified, or come from sustainable forestry.
Siplec E.Leclerc is also FSC® or PEFC ™ certified by Bureau Veritas, which certifies that the wood comes from sustainably managed forests for the entire supply chain (economic, environmental and social issues).
This certification guarantees sustainable logging practices, beneficial to local communities and economically viable.
Siplec E.Leclerc is also working on developing labelled products in a growing number of categories appreciated by E.LECLERC customers, e.g. such as “Ecodetergent” car care products, ECOCERT certified.
We seek to address all aspects of our impact on the product and its packaging with respect to fixing, recycling and conditions of use of recycled materials.
This commitment is reflected in our new Bazar private-label product lines and items. Here are a few examples of products that will be on E.Leclerc shelves in 2026 :
– Certified wood and paper (FSC® / PEFC™): Our Esquisse pencils and Homeside cutting boards are 100% FSC®-certified. Our notebooks made in France (Esquisse) are PEFC™-certified, and our cardboard tableware (Homeside) is FSC®-certified.
– Sustainability and resource conservation: Our Froid Eco+ and Elsay lines of refrigerators and freezers undergo salt spray testing to verify the materials’ resistance to corrosion, as well as repeated door-opening tests to simulate intensive daily use. The new Foxter line of pressure washers has a high repairability rating (at least 8/10) and saves 80% on water compared to a standard garden hose.*
– Reducing plastic : For instance, our Linkster printer cartridges are now available in 100% cardboard packaging. Another example: the TECH 9 and Eco+ brands’ coolant and windshield washer fluid lines now use a new PET plastic container instead of HDPE. This new container contains less plastic. Annual impact : this initiative saves 154 metric tons of plastic per year.
* Water savings calculated based on the flow rate of a standard 15-mm-diameter garden hose consuming approximately 1,900 liters of water per hour at a pressure of 3 bars.
